Receipts are read on your phone: store, date, total and items. Every field stays editable, so the record is always yours. No receipt to hand? Enter a purchase by hand in seconds. The camera is optional.

Budgets that fit your month

Set a monthly limit for any category and watch what is left as the weeks go by. See only the categories you actually use, or all of them. Knowing the number before you shop beats finding out at the till.

See where the money goes

Spending by category, by member and over time — this week, this month, last month and the year so far. Search every purchase by shop, amount, date, category or person.

Built for a household, not just one person

Add each family member and attribute purchases to whoever made them, so reports stay accurate and nobody's spending hides in "other". Rename or remove members at any time; their spending moves with them.

Reminders

Daily, weekly or one-off reminders to log receipts or catch a bill, delivered as ordinary phone notifications scheduled on the device.

Export and back up

Your data stays yours

• No account and no sign-in. There is nothing to register for.
• Nothing is uploaded. The app has no server of its own and makes no network calls with your records. It works in airplane mode.
• Receipts are read on your phone. Text recognition runs on the device, not in a cloud service.
• No ads, and no third-party analytics. Nobody is profiling your shopping.
• Backups are files you hold. Save one wherever you like; it can be protected with a password you choose.
• Deleting is real deletion. "Reset the app" erases the database and the receipt images from the device.

In plain language: App Lock is a PIN or fingerprint entry point to the app.

Why it asks for permissions

# Camera — only to photograph a receipt on the scan screen. Decline it and you can still enter purchases by hand.

# Photos and files — only to attach an existing receipt image, and to save a backup, CSV or PDF where you choose.

# Notifications and alarms — used for the reminders you set.
# Fingerprint or face — only if you turn on biometric unlock. Android performs the check; the app receives a yes or a no.

Prices are shown in US dollars; the store charges your local price and any tax. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel any time in the Google Play app under Subscriptions — you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends. The lifetime option is a single payment, not a subscription. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy.

Questions people ask

Does it work without internet?
Yes — that is the default. Recording, scanning, budgets, charts, and reports all happen on the device, and the app works in airplane mode.

Where is my data kept?
In a database on your phone, plus the receipt images in the app's own storage. Nothing is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere to send it to.

How do I move to a new phone?

Make a backup, keep the file, install the app on the new phone and restore it. You can merge the backup with what is already there or replace everything with it.

How do I delete everything?

Settings has a "reset the app" option that erases the database and the receipt images. Uninstalling also removes the app's data. Backups you saved elsewhere stay yours to delete.

Does it connect to my bank?

No. Receipts are the input — photographed, or typed in by hand. It does not read your bank feed, file your taxes or do your bookkeeping.

Can it handle more than one currency?

It uses the currency, date and number formats of your country, and you can change them at any time. It does not convert between currencies.

Can two people use it on one phone?

Yes. Add a member for each person and attribute each purchase, so totals and charts split by member. Each phone keeps its own records.

What is not in the free version?

Pro unlocks reminders and PDF reports with the receipt images, along with the other Pro features listed in the app. Tracking spending, categories, members, search, analytics, CSV export and backups are free.
